My love for cars dates back to when I was three. My mom used to feed me while I opened my mouth in awe, seeing the cars on the road. At the age of six, I found my passion for designing cars, which I still do. I went room-to-room with an imaginary steering wheel, coupled with a mouth-horn and mouth-indicator sound. Mattel matchbox cars filled the bed, and there are sweet memories of my mom cleaning them up every night.
Growing up, I used to doodle car headlamps at the corner of my notebooks. I didn't even spare question papers. Schoolwork and coaching classes preoccupied my mind, yet the innate passion for cars never faded. Now I spend my free-time reading car websites like CarWale or watch car reviews of Doug DeMuro. Doug's videos are around 25 minutes long, but I still get glued to his videos. Attention to detail while observing cars is another trait that I share with Doug. I can identify a vehicle by a glimpse of its headlamps, and I'm quite proud of it.
Whenever someone in our family wants to buy a new car, they would take my advice. I'm fonder of SUVs, among other vehicles; the go-anywhere ability being the top reason. My top three SUVs would be Lamborghini Urus, Jeep Trackhawk, and the G63 AMG. I am so desperate to own one of these in the future, and I hope that ICE vehicles stay here for this decade.
I'm also a gaming enthusiast, and I play Forza Horizon on Xbox and Real Racing 3 on Android. Forza is so immersive that I never get tired of hearing the engine revs of the 918 Spyder in the game. I'm also qualified to drive in the real world too. Going on an all-India road trip in my Urus is my ultimate dream.
Whenever the career-to-choose topic comes up, I often get confused about what exactly I want. But one thing is sure: I like it related to the automotive industry. I'm not a big fan of learning about the Physics behind how engines work and stuff. Instead, I'm a guy more into the aesthetics of a car. I'm a car design-analyst by passion, and I could write about it.
What a well written blog. Big fan
